Students completed entry #s 3 and 4 in their journals and participated in a class activity called Whoosh! All class activities served as contextual information to assist us in our reading of the Iliad tomorrow.
Students completed journal entries #1 and #2 (see main classroom page for details) and watched a 25-minute video about ancient Greece. Students were also introduced to the participation guidelines for the class (handout on main class page).
Today, students received a syllabus, parent letter, and created Found Poetry to decorate our classroom. The writing used to create the Found poems came from the literature we will be reading this semester.
