Students had a work day to work on their costume and make-up designs.
Today, students took notes on Make-up Design, we reviewed the make-up assignment portion of the portfolio project, and students began working on their costume and make-up designs.
I talked for a little bit about make-up design and then spent the majority of class focusing on set design. The students did some practice designs and were then assigned the larger set design project which is due along with their costume and make-up designs next Thursday.
I shared with students a play analysis assignment for "It's a Wonderful Life," our school's fall production. Students are expected to see the show this weekend or at the school show Monday.
Afterwards, I shared notes on costume design and then explained the costume/make-up design project due at the end of next week.
To end class, we played a new theatre game called "Party Quirks."
