Today, students took notes on voice and then did a series of body and voice activities in the auditorium.
We began discussing the Actor's Toolbox and focused specifically on the body. After notes, we did some practice exercises in the auditorium.
After taking the Actor's Toolbox quiz, we had a class "pow-wow" and talked about ways we can make our class more functional, friendly, and collaborative. We had a really great, honest conversation and I hope all students take to heart what was shared and make it a reality!
Students performed their contentless scenes today. To end class, we reviewed the next assignment: performing a monologue.
Students took a 33 point Stage Terms/Jobs quiz, then were assigned a contentless scene with a partner. They will perform these scenes on Monday in the auditorium.
